WHAT IS THE 2818 OBLIGATION?  It comes from Matthew 28:18 (The Great Commmission) where Jesus said, "Go into all the world and make disciples...."  This is the mission of the church.  To make sure that we regularly review what we are doing as a church and what we could be doing (new and fresh ideas) we establisehd a monthly meeting where ideas can be exchanged and people can volunteer to help.  This monthly meeting occures the first Sunday each month and lasts about 30 minutes.    While the church is obligated to "go out and make disciples" attending this meeting does not obligate you to anything. We'd love for your to attend, listen, participate as you feel comfortable and offer ideas as they come to mind.
